The Sound Technician prepares, sets up, installs, and/or operates Sound equipment for events, working to achieve the highest standard of service and equipment quality.

​

Tasks:

 

  • Setup Speakers & Amplifiers

  • Setup & Operate Analogue/Digital Sound Desks

  • Setup wired/wireless microphones

  • Equipment Testing/Updating & Maintenance

  • Reading/Understanding/Executing Technical Plans

 

Qualifications and requirements

  • Associate degree or relevant years of experience

  • Competency in using MS Office applications

  • TCP/IP Network Systems

  • Sound Processing (EQ, Compressors, Gates, Effects)

  • Microphone Placement Techniques

  • Audio Cables & Connectors

  • Power Distribution

  • Strong written and spoken English

  • Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, and to use logic and reason to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions;

  • Ability to identify complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.

The Lighting Technician prepares, sets up, installs, and/or operates lighting equipment for events, working to achieve the highest standard of service and equipment quality.

 

Tasks:

 

  • Setup, Configure & Patch Lighting Fixtures

  • Setup, Program & Playback Lighting Consoles

  • Equipment Testing/Updating & Maintenance

  • Reading/Understanding/Executing Technical Plans

 

Qualifications and requirements

  • Associate degree or relevant years of experience

  • Competency in using MS Office applications

  • TCP/IP Network Systems

  • DMX & ARTNET Protocols

  • Light Cables & Connectors

  • Power Distribution

  • Strong written and spoken English

  • Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, and to use logic and reason to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions;

  • Ability to identify complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.

Tasks:

 

  • Setup & Operate Video Switchers

  • Setup & Configure Projectors

  • Setup & Configure LED Screens using NOVA Software

  • Setup & Operate Media Servers

  • Equipment Testing/Updating & Maintenance

  • Reading/Understanding/Executing Technical Plans

 

Qualifications and requirements

  • Associate degree or relevant years of experience

  • Competency in using MS Office applications

  • TCP/IP Network Systems

  • Video File Formats

  • Video Resolutions

  • Video Cables & Connectors

  • Video Signal Distribution & Amplification

  • Blending/Mapping Knowledge

  • Power Distribution

  • Strong written and spoken English

  • Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, and to use logic and reason to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions;

  • Ability to identify complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.

Tasks:

 

  • Setup Audio

  • Setup Light

  • Setup Video

  • Setup Rigging

  • Setup Staging, Dance Floor & Scenic

  • Reading/Understanding/Executing Technical Plans

 

Qualifications and requirements

  • Associate degree or relevant years of experience

  • Competency in using MS Office applications

  • Basic Audio Knowledge

  • Basic Lighting Knowledge

  • Basic Video Knowledge

  • Power Distribution

  • Strong written and spoken English
